Community

The Peninsula Community was built in 1995 and is conveniently located off Piedmont Parkway between Wendover Avenue and Guilford College. This quaint community has a total of 131 homes and is easily accessible to Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem.
The community’s Homeowner’s Association (HOA) includes 5 Board Members. The HOA is tasked with maintaining the quality and value of the community, keeping owners informed, and holding community events. The community is currently managed by Golden Property Management.
The Peninsula is a part of a larger association known as the James Landing Property Owners Association (POA). The POA also includes 4 other communities – Akela Cove, Yorktown Pointe, The Highlands, Barrington Place, and commercial properties.  The POA is responsible for the upkeep of the sign(s) at Piedmont and Wendover, landscaping along Piedmont Parkway, and the upkeep of the ponds and dams between our neighborhood and the Crowne Lake Apartments.
Originally, the property served as a Boy Scout Camp before becoming home to our community. This is not hard to believe with the huge trees and picturesque scenes throughout the neighborhood.
